Starting at a New Year’s Eve party this year, I’ve been asking people to complete a little drawing around a smiley face on a business card. I take these home and scan them to save them. I wrote a little script so that when the scanner finishes, it posts all the scanned images to my blog automatically.
That’s all well and good for party games, but I got a little too excited and asked some professional artists to do some drawings for me. I scanned them and they were posted here automatically. Then I went about my business and didn’t consider writing out the credit for the artists who drew them.
I’m adding proper credit for these posts now, and if I’ve offended you by leaving your credit out, I sincerely apologize. Previously I hadn’t collected credit at all for these, but this time I collected it in case I wanted to post them to Boing Boing. Thanks to Josh Ellingson for letting me know that I should include it here as well.
Note: This does not change my policy for GIFs. Those are next to impossible to credit, and I’m not even going to try.
